Coinstar is a well known international brand with coin collection kiosks found in cities around the world. My role was to supervise with a team of junior developers to revamp Coinstar’s website to match their new branding roll-out. I worked on developing wireframes, the overall structure of the site, as well as back-end code necessary for custom blocks. The site(s) use a core theme that is customizable for the individual countries and languages where Coinstar has a presence.
The website(s) use a combination of some pages being entirely Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) template based, while others use Gutenberg for content creation. Several custom blocks working in conjunction with ACF are used for display standard pages as well as with several custom post types.
